What’s been happening lately?
Our dog has been keeping busy with the usual activities — morning walks, long naps, and an ongoing mission to protect the house from delivery drivers and squirrels. There’s been a noticeable increase in tail wags, a few zoomie sessions in the living room, and at least one mysterious hole dug in the backyard.
Eating habits remain strong. Treats are always welcome, while regular meals are often judged with suspicion unless there’s a new topping involved. Hydration is going well, especially when it involves knocking over the water bowl for fun.
There’s been a recent obsession with a squeaky toy that has now mysteriously disappeared under the couch. Attempts to retrieve it are ongoing. Barking at the mail has resumed on schedule, and all visitors continue to be greeted like returning heroes.
On the health front, we had a quick vet visit which went smoother than expected. Our dog is in good shape and currently sporting a new collar, which may or may not be appreciated.
In summary, life is good. Our dog is happy, healthy, and continuing to remind us how much joy and comfort a four-legged friend can bring into a home.
